Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use MySIM, why we collect it, and the rights you have. We act as the data controller for the personal data described below.

1. Data we collect

• Account data — your name and email address. If you register with a password, we store only a securely hashed version; if you sign in with Google, we receive your name and verified email from Google.
• Order data — the eSIM plans you buy, price, currency, tax, order status, and the eSIM identifier (ICCID) issued to you.
• Payment data — payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your full card number; we keep a payment reference and status.
• Technical data — IP address and basic device/browser information, and strictly necessary cookies used to keep you signed in.

2. How we use your data

• To create and manage your account and deliver the eSIM you purchased (including sending your QR code by email).
• To process payments, issue receipts, and meet accounting and tax obligations.
• To provide customer support and handle refunds or cancellations.
• To prevent fraud and keep the service secure.

3. Legal bases

Under the Law of the Republic of Armenia on the Protection of Personal Data, we process your data to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, and on the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

4. Who we share data with

We share the minimum data needed with trusted providers who act on our behalf:

• eSIM Access — our connectivity supplier, to provision and manage your eSIM.
• Stripe — to process card payments securely.
• Google — only if you choose "Sign in with Google".
• Email and hosting providers — to deliver your eSIM and run the website.

We never sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside Armenia. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

6. How long we keep data

We keep account and order data for as long as your account is active and thereafter as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes (typically up to 7 years for transaction records). You can ask us to delete data that we are not legally required to retain.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email support@mysim.am. You may also lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Agency of the Republic of Armenia.

8. Cookies

We use only strictly necessary cookies — for example, to keep you signed in and to remember your language. We do not use advertising cookies.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the current version.
